I was very aggravated by the waiting time before I finally was seen by my doctor. It was after 50 minutes that an assistant or trainee doctor came to see me with preliminary questions and discussion which seems to be the practice -- he would then leave thecroom to discuss with my actual doctor. It was maybe after another 10 minutes or so before I finally saw my real doctor. I like my doctor. It is the waiting time that is the problem. It assumes that the patient's time is not important but the doctor's time is. I believe that the system of scheduling of appointments should be reviewed to resolve this atrociously unreasonable waiting time over the scheduled appointment. A 20 minute waiting time over the scheduled appointment is acceptable. Beyond that, there is a system problem. I hope Atrium will address this issue. Thank you.
I love Dr Rita. She is wonderful
She is the best. I am so lucky to have her. She has helped me with hair loss. She made time for me when I was shedding large amounts of hair and prescribed medication that helped.
Rita Pichardo is an absolute blessing. She is very well educated in my condition and I have been seeking proper care for this for many years to no avail - until now. I left her office sobbing happy tears because she listened to me and understood my needs. I wish there were more women like her in Healthcare. I was very pleased with her care plan.
