The provider's staff were helpful and listened to my concerns. The provider seemed very competent but was dismissive about my concerns and offered little information about my condition.
I waited 30 minutes in the waiting room and 45 minutes in the exam. I was seen until 1 hour 15 minutes after my appointment time.
Had first appt. and still had to wait too long. Process could have been a little better.
I really connected to the provider. But it takes so long to get an appointment that it may not be possible to see her my next appointment and to me that is counterproductive.
She was very caring and she listen to me and she ask me question . I highly appreciate her and I will continue to see her . Thank you Dr. Mcmichael's great doctor I love her honesty
There was a new person at check out and she did not ask me if I wanted my summary printed and was seemingly in a hurry even though I was the only one checking out. She wasn't very patient friendly - I felt dismissed and that's unusual for the decades I've been a patient
It takes too long to get appts. A new patient has to wait a year for a new appt. That's way too long
Before you read this note, understand I'm questioning many things on my health journey. As I directly ask my Drs any questions I have, they usually give an equally direct explanation... What I was thinking before she walked in the door that day was this...I don't understand why a dermatologist wouldn't use modern technology to advance detection of cancer? I want to trust Dr. McMichael and I do to an extent. However, I'm left wondering why she doesn't use a Dermatoscope? When she came in and began to examine me I asked her why she doesn't use a Dermatoscope. Her reply was that she was trained using her eyes so she doesn't need to use one. And sure enough she did confirm my suspicions of two places on my face (pre-cancerous). We also talked about many other factors regarding my skin health and SPF protection. Was my question about the dermatoscope resolved? It's hard to answer because I want to trust her and I know she's a capable, caring Dr. Will I see her again? Yes. I want to see through the treatment of the two pre-cancerous places on my face...at the end of the day I guess I do trust her judgements.
She was very polite, kind & caring. She listen to my questions I had & answered them in a way I understood them.
Dr Amy Mcmichael is always kind. Dr Mcmichael is very knowledgeable and detailed which is a plus for me! Thank you Dr Mcmichael.
