Dr. Stevens began our consultation by first listening to me. He asked me to describe the progression of my problem, and it was clear that he was already fully briefed on my condition. He did some strength testing of my legs and feet. Then Dr. Stevens clearly explained the problematic conditions in my spine and the surgical procedure necessary for correction. He is a keen listener. I appreciate his calm demeanor and kindness.

New patient for back surgery. Had experience with Wake Forest with my husband's surgery and my mother's care. They are leaps and bounds above ordinary which is why we will drive 2 hours! I describe it to friends as Disney World for medicine. ALL are trained, friendly, efficient, and make you feel like you are important to them! I feel valued and cared for!!
