Dr. Taewoo talked a lot and discussed multiple subjects. Everything kept coming back to my weight being the problem. He talked fast and I was unable to say a word. He did ask if I had questions, by that time I'd forgotten what I wanted to say. There were some documentation errors in my chart. I contacted Dr. taewoo and he corrected these immediately. These were made due to him not listening to me. He's a brilliant doctor. He just needs to listen more and not be so drastic in discontinuing a patient's medications. I'm doing the best I've been doing in a very long time, years. Dr. Taewoo wanted to discontinue every single one of my medications except for 3. We compromised and discussed why I was on these meds. We discontinued everything possible to not have a negative effect. I'm super worried and I made Dr. Taewoo aware. Example being discontinuing my iron supplement. His reasoning was my levels were normal. Yes, they are and it's because I'm taking the supplement. If you'd look at my trending labs, it's the first time in over 5 years that it has been normal. I had to take IV iron and several supplements to get where I am now. For whatever reason, my body does not absorb vitamins and minerals, hence why I was taking vitamin D3 and B12 replacements which have also been discontinued. It will be interesting to see how my labs look in 3 months, when I return for a follow up visit. I really appreciate him consulting on me but don't be so quick to wreck the boat. Let's try one medication at a time, not my entire med list. Am I wrong???
