The Lexington cancer center is amazing. I can't say enough good things about Dr Ansley and staff. I'm so comforted by their knowledge and care. And as thrilled as I am about their renovations, I do not appreciate that my support person, my husband, can no longer be in the infusion area with me due to space limitations during renovations. This is totally unacceptable. Cancer is a group battle, and we need our supporters with us. I don't care how "short term" this change might be. It's not right. Squeeze us in somehow. Make it work. We need and deserve all the love and support we can get. Especially with all the construction racket going on. It would be less irritating if we had our "person" along to talk with us through the noise. Please, I respectfully ask that you find a way to keep us all with a loved one by our side.
